Less than a week after inking a ten-year supply deal with the Turkish National Lottery and American lottery and gaming machines innovator, Scientific Games Corporation, has now announced that it has helped a casino in Indiana to launch a retail sportsbetting service for the very first time.

The Vegas-headquartered firm used a Monday press release to detail that Indiana Grand Racing and Casino is now utilizing its OpenSports product suite in order to offer punters the ability to place wagers on a plethora of professional and amateur sporting contests.

Inaugural introduction:

Scientific Games explained that the Indiana casino is owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation and premiered its new Winner’s Circle Race Sports Pub sportsbook on September 1 following the earlier ratification of legislation that brought legalized sportsbetting to the Midwestern state.

Subsequent sextuplet:

Jordan Levin, Chief Executive for SG Corporation’s SG Digital subsidiary, used the press release to declare that Caesars is subsequently planning to exploit his firm’s OpenSports advance so as to debut similar sportsbooks within its Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino, Horseshoe Hammond and Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing and Casino venues. He proclaimed that these are to later be joined by off-track betting parlors the operator runs in the Indiana communities of Clarksville, Indianapolis and New Haven.

Read a statement from Levin…

“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Caesars Entertainment Corporation in the United States. OpenSports is a great platform that’s shown rock solid performance, putting players at the heart of the betting experience. With [our] powerful retail solution and mobile sports product, we’ll continue to take bold steps when it comes to the player experience.”

Sustained sensation:

For his part, Christian Stuart, Gaming and Interactive Entertainment Executive Vice President for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, proclaimed that Indiana is continuing a trend that has seen his firm have ‘incredibly successful sportsbook launches’ and could soon be followed by similar introductions at its venues in North Carolina and Illinois.

Stuart’s statement read…

“We look forward to seeing OpenSports further engage our players with the sleek user experience and high transaction volume we’ve come to expect from OpenSports.”
